I knew Matt Skiba from our Alkaline Trio collaborations, so when he joined Blink-182, he asked if I’d like to take a stab at a cover design for California, the first album he would be appearing on. I said sure and gave it a shot. In retrospect, I went a bit dark on the design approach. Punk comes in many flavors.
